Here is your essential checklist for test day.

1. Mandatory Identification Guidelines for Malaysia

ETS enforces zero-tolerance identification policies. If your documentation is incomplete or mismatched, centre administrators cannot permit entry:

International Candidates: You MUST present your original, valid physical Passport. The name on your passport must match the name registered on your ETS account exactly.
Malaysian Citizens: You may present an original valid Passport or your MyKad. (Using a passport is recommended to ensure seamless matching with international university score systems).
Prohibited IDs: Driver's licenses, university student cards, photocopies, notarized copies, and digital images on smartphones are strictly invalid.

2. Arrival Timeline and Check-In Protocol

Budget ample transit time across Klang Valley highway networks (such as the Federal Highway, DUKE, or SPRINT) to ensure a smooth check-in:

Arrival Schedule - T - 45 Minutes: Arrive at the facility. Locate the testing floor, sign the visitor security register, and review your assigned locker number. - T - 30 Minutes: Security check-in begins. The administrator inspects your physical ID, captures a digital biometric facial photograph, and verifies your electronic signature. - T - 15 Minutes: Security screening. Proctors conduct a metal detector wand check. You will be asked to turn out your pockets and pull up your sleeves to ensure no unauthorized items are carried into the room. - T - 5 Minutes: Escorted entry into the testing room. 3. What Stays in the Locker vs. What Enters the Room
