Landing in a foreign country after a long-haul flight can be an intimidating experience—especially when navigating immigration checkpoints, luggage carousels, and local transport in an unfamiliar language.

For international students traveling to Malaysia on a student visa, airport reception is not merely a convenience; it is a mandatory legal requirement under Malaysian Immigration Law.

To ensure a seamless, warm, and compliant welcome, ACE Language Centre operates a dedicated Airport pickup for international students concierge service at both Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 (KLIA 1) and Terminal 2 (KLIA 2).

1. Malaysian Immigration Rule: The Institutional Escort Mandate

  • International students arriving with a Single Entry Visa (SEV) based on an eVAL (Electronic Visa Approval Letter) cannot simply walk through regular tourist immigration lines.
  • An authorized ACE Welfare Officer must be physically present at the immigration holding area with your institutional clearance dossier to present to the duty immigration officer.
  • Failure to arrange institutional reception may result in being held at the airport transit lounge until a representative arrives.

2. Step-by-Step Arrival Timeline

1. Touchdown at KLIA 1 / KLIA 2 └─ Connect to free airport Wi-Fi & message your assigned ACE liaison on WhatsApp.

  • Walk to the International Arrivals Immigration Hall
  • Joint Immigration Clearance

3. What to Pack in Your Carry-On Bag

  • Original physical passport (minimum 18 months validity).
  • Printed copies of your eVAL (Electronic Visa Approval Letter).
  • Printed copy of your ACE Official Letter of Acceptance.
  • Printed copy of your Single Entry Visa (SEV).
  • Contact phone number and WhatsApp of your assigned ACE liaison officer.
